Global Technology Product Manager Job Description

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a key role in the Global Commercial Platforms function. Working within our Primary Markets, the focus will be on managing business needs and demand management of global stakeholders.

In this position, the successful candidate will assist in planning and managing the implementation of various solutions within our portfolio. They will work with a team of other product managers and architects to develop proof of concepts and implement understanding of available functionality out of the box and via other sources. The individual will be responsible for defining effective designs and proposing alternative approaches to tackling stated business problems, while maintaining effective levels of communication with all business stakeholders.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver incremental value to the organization
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Master and delivery team daily, addressing questions, ambiguities, and solving issues
  • Inspire the team and bring a unique vision and perspective to the product, identifying what is possible
  • Agree on timelines and deadlines for development, help define feature prioritization
  • Contribute to capabilities direction, own design, execution, and measure ongoing improvements against short and long-term goals
  • Effective communication is essential; it involves being clear and setting precise expectations, both in writing and verbally
  • Design simple solutions for complex workflows, including all design deliverables
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience working as a product manager
  • 4 years of Salesforce functional consultant experience
  • Understanding of the difference between using Salesforce declarative functionality over coding
  • Familiarity with Sales Cloud features, opportunity management sales processes
  • Depth knowledge of Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality, ideally holding certifications
  • Knowledge of CPQ, CLM, Pardot and/or other marketing solutions
  • Project management experience
  • Agile process and principles
  • Excellent presentation and leadership skills, along with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working remotely and asynchronously with team members across different countries and time zones
  • Ability to manage complexity of communications depending on the audience, while maintaining clarity of communication
