Rain Industries is seeking a seasoned Internal Audit Manager to join its global internal audit team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing audit programs, conducting reviews, and providing consultative support to business units. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing all audit programs in line with the audit plan, ensuring compliance with established auditing industry practices.
  • Executing audits/reviews to test templates and auditable activities, contributing to improvements and revisions as required.
  • Maintaining documentation of all forms of audit work papers, adhering to Rain Industries' established procedures and Audit Quality Assurance standards.
  • Providing consultative support to business units on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework implementation and Control Self Assessments, reviewing programs for adequacy of coverage and making recommendations.
  • Supporting business teams in enhancing control awareness through GRC/Business Process Controls training programs, providing feedback on observations.
  • Participating in Forensic Audits/Fraud Investigations, reporting results and recommending corrective actions.
  • Offering independent guidance to business units on compliance requirements and best business practices in Internal Controls, ERM, and Audit areas.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant (and/or) Cost & Management Accountant, with relevant Internal Audit experience (and/or) Certified Internal Auditor.
  • 7-10 years of Internal Audit Experience.

Key functional/technical skills include:

  • Exposure to Manufacturing/Process industry preferred.
  • Good understanding and hands-on experience of Accounting Standards viz., Ind AS, US GAAP, IFRS.
  • Exposure to accepted practices of Accounting Consolidation, preparation of financials, and reporting.
  • Forensic Reviews/Fraud Investigations experience (Preferred).
  • Exposure/hands-on experience on SAP and highly skilled in MS Office package.
  • Tech-savvy, good understanding of Database Systems, and ability to employ technology effectively.
