Geologist/Environmental Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Geologist/Environmental Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing environmental reporting and data management support, as well as assisting senior colleagues on multiple projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide environmental reporting and data management support, utilizing databases like Locus EIM and EQuIS.
  • Develop and generate formatted reports, tables, figures, charts, etc.
  • Assist senior colleagues on multiple projects and deliver high-quality results within deadlines and cost expectations.
  • Process data from intrusive site investigations, including geological logs, chemical laboratory data, and geotechnical laboratory data, for presentation and interpretation as required by the Delivery/Task/Project Manager.
  • Provide administrative support for projects, including collecting data, providing project documentation, training staff, task management, and performing other general administrative duties.
  • Fulfill duties within the business management system, including completing mandatory training, timesheets, and other submissions.

Required Competencies:

  • Proficient in commonly used Microsoft Office 365 apps.
  • Strong networking, communication, and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring effective communications with minimal supervision.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
