**Job Title:** Lead Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design and Development Leader to join our team. As a key member of the group, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end product design and development from concept stage through to production release and market launch.

This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving skills, and leadership ability to guide a small team of engineers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical product design & development (NPD), with experience in leading a small team (2–3 engineers) and delivering end-to-end product designs from concept to market.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience in mechanical product design & development, with a strong background in consumer electronics or similar domain experience. SolidWorks CAD expertise with simulation exposure (thermal/structural FEA preferred) is a must-have skill.

The selected individual will lead complete mechanical design and development lifecycle: concept design → prototyping → design validation → tooling → product launch. They will translate customer/market requirements into innovative and manufacturable product designs, develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks with full GD&T and tolerance stack-up, and perform design calculations, DFMEA, and tolerance analysis for robust product performance.
