Job Overview

Data Migration Specialist Position Available

  • We are seeking an experienced data migration specialist to lead the execution of end-to-end data migration activities across all project phases: extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive data migration strategy, scope, and roadmap in alignment with program objectives and timelines.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and external partners to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.
  • Identify data sources and assess readiness, quality, and potential risks.
  • Lead the migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records from legacy systems to the target platform.
  • Coordinate with functional and technical teams to validate and test data in the target system.
  • Implement automated and repeatable data migration processes.
  • Define and enforce data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures.
  • E nsure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data with regulatory and audit standards.
  • Coordinate data reconciliation, defect tracking, and issue resolution processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ yrs of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for a major ERP, HCM, or CRM implementation.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN etc.
  • Experience with Data migration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Project Management Skills.
