Lead Data Engineer - Big Data & Hadoop

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale data processing systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Hadoop, and Spark.
  • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • • Mentor and guide junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in big data and Hadoop.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • • 4+ years of experience as a lead developer with data warehouse, big data, and Hadoop implementation in Azure environment.
  • • Strong understanding of big data concepts, including data lakes, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • • Experience with building and tuning Spark pipelines in Python/Java/Scala.
  • • Good knowledge of Hive queries and SQL.
  • • Familiarity with AWS Cloud and its services will be an added advantage.
