About the Role

In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge systems. Your strategic thinking will play a crucial role in shaping processes, tools, and frameworks to optimize team effectiveness.

  • Design, develop, and deliver software solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Analyze requirements for new applications and customizations, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
  • Plan and execute maintenance, upgrades, and migrations across various environments, guaranteeing seamless operations.
  • Develop resilient, scalable infrastructure that minimizes downtime and service interruptions.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for logging, monitoring, and security services.
  • Create infrastructure as code, standard system images, and application images using Docker.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
Your Expertise Matters

We're looking for a seasoned professional with advanced knowledge within their discipline. Key qualifications include:

  • Leading medium-sized projects or initiatives as an individual contributor, with experience managing day-to-day work for junior team members.
  • Designing and developing applications, system-to-system interfaces, and complete software solutions, with expertise in vendor-related activities and documentation creation.
  • Overseeing and providing technical support to junior team members, with a focus on mentorship and growth.
  • Significant experience in advanced code development, code review, and day-to-day support duties.
  • Expertise in AWS Cloud, including developing solution offerings for new and existing Cloud projects, with a deep understanding of various AWS service offerings.
  • Kubernetes experience, managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters, with expertise in kops or Rancher and alternative CNIs.
  • Infrastructure as Code experience, with proficiency in programming methodologies used to augment Terraform, including Python, bash, or Go, and related programming tools like VSCode and git.
  • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes cluster backup and restoration techniques and tools.
