Channel Packaging Pvt Ltd is a leading provider of packaging solutions, committed to delivering exceptional quality products and services to our customers. We are seeking an experienced Depot Management Specialist to join our operations team, responsible for managing and overseeing all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient processes, and maximizing warehouse productivity.
About the Role:
The Depot Management Specialist will be responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and participating in daily warehouse operation and activities, including receipt, documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies, and maintenance of inventory. The successful candidate will also train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees, assign workload to warehouse workers, and prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs, prepare reports as required, maintain inventory of items in the warehouse, file records as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and organize daily warehouse operations, including receipt, documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies
* Supervise and participate in warehouse activities, ensuring efficient processes and maximum productivity
* Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees, assign workload to warehouse workers
* Prepare and maintain various records and logs, prepare reports as required, maintain inventory of items in the warehouse, file records as required
* Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures, advise on budget-related needs
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field
* Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position
* Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
* Excellent leadership and organizational skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
* Problem-solving skills
