Financial Expert Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven financial expert to join our investment team. This key role will play a pivotal part in analyzing complex financial data, evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with portfolio managers, finance leadership, and other stakeholders to drive performance and ensure accurate reporting. Your expertise will help us make informed decisions that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of investment opportunities across asset classes (equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, alternative investments).
  • Build and maintain robust financial models for valuation, forecasting, sensitivity, and scenario planning.
  • Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for management and the investment committee.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance, key metrics, and market trends.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation initiatives.
  • Perform variance analysis on actual vs. forecasted results and recommend actionable insights.
  • Partner with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance transactions.
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on financial modeling and analysis best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation, and implementation of analytical tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred).
  • 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or corporate finance, preferably in an investment company, asset management, or private equity environment.
  • Strong knowledge of valuation techniques (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar financial databases is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
