Lead Finance & Accounts Professional

Our ideal candidate will lead the entire Finance & Accounts function with expertise in financial leadership and finalization, accounting management, MIS reporting, treasury management, audit coordination, taxation and compliance, vendor and customer relations, banking relations, financial planning, team leadership and development, and industry compliance.

  • Financial Leadership & Finalization: Oversee the entire finance and accounts process to ensure timely and accurate reporting, while maintaining a strong focus on compliance.
  • Accounting Management: Supervise all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and maintain robust financial records.
  • MIS Reporting: Develop, implement, and present comprehensive MIS reports for senior management decision-making.
  • Treasury Management: Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, liquidity planning, and banking relationships for optimal financial health.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits for seamless processes and compliance.
  • Taxation & Compliance: Ensure direct and indirect tax matters are compliant with statutory regulations, while optimizing tax strategies.
  • Vendor & Customer Relations: Manage financial relationships with vendors and customers for efficient payment processes and dispute resolution.
  • Banking Relations: Maintain strong banking partnerships, managing credit facilities and other financial instruments effectively.
  • Financial Planning: Lead financial planning initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategy development.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Foster a high-performance culture within the finance and accounts team through continuous professional development.
  • Industry Compliance: Ensure all financial operations and reporting are compliant with industry-specific regulations, particularly within the freight forwarding sector.

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead finance and accounts functions.
  • Expertise in accounting operations, MIS, treasury, audits, and taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of vendor/customer relations, banking, and financial planning.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance frameworks relevant to finance and accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
