Chief Information Security Officer

A Senior Security Professional is required to develop and implement an information security strategy, safeguard company systems and data, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive information security program to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- The successful candidate will lead efforts to safeguard company information systems, networks, and data against internal and external threats, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- They will also direct the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks across all aspects of operations, including applications, infrastructure, and third-party vendors.
- Additionally, they will monitor and analyse security incidents and breaches, and coordinate incident response activities to minimize impact and prevent recurrence.
- Develop and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Lead efforts to safeguard company information systems, networks, and data against internal and external threats, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Direct the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks across all aspects of operations, including applications, infrastructure, and third-party vendors.
- Monitor and analyse security incidents and breaches, and coordinate incident response activities to minimize impact and prevent recurrence.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 7+ years of experience in information security roles, with a minimum of 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive information security programs in a complex, multi-platform environment.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management, security operations, and incident response.
