As a Network and Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining network security operations across various environments. This involves ensuring the integrity and performance of our network infrastructure through efficient troubleshooting and resolution strategies for firewall-related issues.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex network and security incidents. You will utilize your hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama to analyze logs and implement corrective actions.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in network and security operations with L2-level support responsibilities. You will be required to develop and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, change records, and SOPs, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.

We are seeking an individual who can participate in planned maintenance windows, patching, and upgrade activities to guarantee the stability and performance of our network and security infrastructure.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in network and security operations with L2-level support responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama, along with a solid understanding of network concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, NAT, and VPNs.
  • Ability to analyze firewall logs, identify threats, misconfigurations, or unusual behavior, and implement corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, compliance standards (ISO, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.), and familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Splunk, or SIEM platforms.
  • Preferred certifications: PCNSA, PCNSE, or relevant security/networking certifications (e.g., CCNA Security, Fortinet NSE).
