Digital Medicine Pioneer

Our first digital therapeutic product, aimed at treating adult ADHD, has successfully completed clinical trials and is poised for commercial launch.

About the Role

We seek an accomplished Visual Designer (5+ years) with expertise in illustration and animation to join our team. As a Visual Designer, you will create captivating visuals and animations for our core product and marketing campaigns, bringing our brand to life across multiple channels. You'll collaborate closely with product designers, marketers, and cross-functional teams to produce high-quality illustrations and marketing materials that enhance user experience, drive engagement, and refine our brand identity.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creating original illustrations and animations for our app, website, and marketing materials that align with and refine our brand identity.
  • Designing compelling visuals for email campaigns, social media, ads, and other promotional materials to drive user engagement.
  • Collaborating across teams to understand project requirements and deliver visuals that meet strategic goals.
  • Contributing to brand refinement by helping evolve and maintain Lumosity's visual style, ensuring consistency and innovation in our product branding across all platforms and media.
  • Supporting product branding by enhancing the visual appeal of our products through thoughtful design and branding strategies.
  • Staying current with design trends, tools, and technologies, especially in illustration and animation, to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Managing projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in visual design with a strong portfolio showcasing illustration, animation, and marketing materials.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Figma, and other relevant design tools.
  • Illustration and animation expertise: Demonstrated ability to create a wide range of illustration styles and animations, from conceptual sketches to detailed final artwork.
  • Branding skills: Experience in brand refinement and product branding, ensuring visual consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Marketing acumen: Ability to design marketing materials that effectively communicate our brand message and drive engagement.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous eye for detail, typography, color, composition, and animation timing.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions.
  • Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and the ability to incorporate feedback effectively.
