Role Overview: The Civil Engineer position is a pivotal role that entails assessing and analyzing potential sites for solar installations. This involves planning, designing, and ensuring the successful integration of solar systems into existing infrastructure while adhering to local building codes and regulations.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate locations' suitability for solar installations.
  • Consider factors such as topography, geotechnical conditions, drainage, and environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and design infrastructure components like access roads, fencing, laydowns, and drainage systems.
  • Preliminary site evaluations including desktop studies, topography, and wetlands.
  • Site grading, drainage, and layout optimization to ensure efficient use of space and resources.
  • Support civil design of solar projects, including site layout, demolition, grading, and stormwater management calculations, foundation design, and structural considerations.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring compliance with AHJ, local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is essential.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil3D, HydroCAD, STAAD-Pro, ETABS, and other relevant tools is crucial.
  • Software proficiency includes AutoCAD, Civil3D, Storm Sewer Analysis, Vehicle Tracking, Grading Optimization, HydroCAD, Culvert master, Flo2D, HEC-RAS, QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth, PVcase, and more.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience in civil-structural engineering, preferably with a focus on Solar, BESS, Substation design, or renewable energy projects.

Technical Skills and Experience:
