Job Title: Chief Financial Strategist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Financial Strategist to lead our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, and financial statements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth
  • Preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, and financial statements
  • Conducting in-depth financial analysis and providing insights to support strategic decisions
  • Budgeting and forecasting: coordinating the budgeting process and working closely with department heads to establish annual budgets
  • Monitoring budget variances and providing explanations for significant discrepancies
  • Preparing financial forecasts and models to support long-term planning
  • Financial reporting: ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicating financial results and insights to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Compliance and risk management: ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
  • Managing tax planning and compliance activities
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks, implementing appropriate strategies and controls
  • Cash management: managing cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
  • Optimizing cash balances and investments to maximize returns
  • Team leadership: providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging professional growth and development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Strong background in financial modeling and forecasting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations
