Job Title: Operations Project Manager

The role of an Operations Project Manager involves overseeing and analyzing multiple projects within the banana export operations, focusing on temperature monitoring from farm to cold storage. This position requires strong analytical skills, process monitoring, and cross-functional team coordination for quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and track multiple projects related to banana export operations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and quality standards.
  • Monitor temperature data at all stages and analyze logger reports to prevent spoilage.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze supply chain data to optimize processes and reduce losses.
  • Prepare regular reports highlighting performance, deviations, and recommendations.
  • Develop dashboards for real-time monitoring of critical parameters.

Customer Complaint Resolution & Quality Assurance

  • Investigate customer complaints related to container quality or product spoilage.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and identify corrective actions.
  • Share findings with internal teams and stakeholders to avoid recurrence.

Quality Standards & Compliance

  • Audit farm and cold storage practices to ensure compliance with export standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and supplier communication.
  • Support adherence to post-harvest SOPs.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of cold chain management and fruit export processes.
  • Data analysis tools proficiency (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
  • Familiarity with temperature logger systems and reporting formats.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination.
