We are seeking a talented Cancer Data Expert to join our team. As a key member of our oncology data management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of cancer data.

Job Description:
  • Complete reading, writing, and assigned assessments (quizzes, final examinations, mock exams, computer assignments) within established timelines.
  • Maintain a daily log to document all activities completed each day.
  • Perform duties in compliance with company policies and procedures, including HIPAA and compliance.
  • Utilize official references to complete assignments, such as STORE, International Classification of Diseases for Oncology, 3rd Edition, American Joint Commission on Cancer Staging Manual, SEER Staging Manual, NAACCR, etc.

In this role, you will work closely with our team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of cancer data. You will be responsible for completing various tasks, including:

  • Completing and passing AHIMA pre-requisite courses, including Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology, and CRM courses.
  • Abstracting methods and practicum activities/assessments.
  • Providing necessary paperwork for certification examination.

After clearing the final examination, you will be assigned to a project where you will perform complex data abstraction and entry for specified diseases and project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate or post-graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • 0-5 years of experience in clinical or non-clinical field.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Suite (Excel and Word).
