Job Title – Manager – Local Regulatory Compliance (LRC)

The Purpose of Your Role:

As a member of the Fidelity Investments team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's operations in India are in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. This position will serve as an extension to Businesses aligned and provide oversight and governance support by engaging with business owners. Compliance assessment and testing will be performed on a planned basis to ensure proactive management of regulatory risks.

The Value You Deliver:

In this role, you will drive the roll-out of regulatory changes, effectively identify and alert stakeholders to regulatory change alerts, and design oversight reporting for tracking the compliance status. You will also act as an escalation point for regulatory changes, partner with external consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory changes are added to the system of record, and drive integration with Compliance teams aligned to Business Units. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to Compliance standards, review material changes to Compliance requirements, and support Compliance Reviews. You will implement integrated Compliance Risk oversight, actively discuss compliance risks, create reporting, escalation, and governance routines, and conduct periodic aggregate reporting to various key stakeholders. Furthermore, you will support initiatives and Enterprise-wide Projects for the Risk group, tracking project deliverables and tasks with a high degree of understanding of highly complex processes and systems and their interdependencies, and regulatory and internal control requirements. You will also conduct deep dives into specific areas of focus based on Risk and Regulatory priorities, and conduct an ongoing operational review of the risk policies and practices, including the continuous identification and implementation of process and system improvements.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks, and a team player mentality who works constructively with others to achieve team goals. Prior experience developing and implementing cross-functional programs, in-depth knowledge of MS Office products, and exposure to reporting and workflow tools are also essential. A hands-on work style and 'can-do' attitude with a strong desire to make things happen are critical in this role.
