We're hiring a remote accounting specialist to support the operation of our financial functions. This role is vital to ensuring timely and accurate financial records, efficient accounts payable management, and full compliance with tax and reporting obligations.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Tasks: Prepare financial statements, post daily bank transactions, and manage monthly reconciliations in NetSuite
  • Journal Entries: Record accruals, prepaids, and various other balance sheet items
  • Tax Compliance: Monitor and ensure timely filing of Sales/Use Tax returns
  • Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and 1099s via Bill.com
  • Financial Systems: Use and update tools like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, and CRM platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Accounting with 2–5 years in general accounting; AP experience is a plus
  • Software Proficiency: Comfortable with NetSuite, Bill.com, QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and CRM tools
  • Knowledge of GAAP: Strong attention to detail
  • Remote Work Experience: With US clients – A must for this role
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a proactive, organized work style
  • Adaptability: Adaptable to a startup environment – Open to evolving tools and workflows
