Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to join our team. As a Regional Credit Manager, you will be responsible for handling a team of underwriters and making decisions on loan applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • To handle a team of underwriters/credit managers.
  • Underwriting and decision-making on home loan/loan against property files sourced by sales teams.
  • Maintaining turnaround times as per guidelines and escalating cases to the decision point.
  • Managing a complete state with a team.
  • Assessing borrowers' profiles, repayment capacity, and income stability.
  • Interpreting financial analysis, banking analysis, and bureau reports.
  • Analyzing customer information in line with credit & risk policies to check eligibility.
  • Meeting and discussing business requirements with customers.
  • Studying and interpreting legal & technical reports of properties.
  • Maintaining a high-quality portfolio and ensuring delinquency numbers are under control.
  • Drafting local policies to achieve the right mix of customers at desired yields.
