Network Security Engineer

Mizuho Global Services Pvt Ltd, a leading provider of global processing services, is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join its team. This role is critical to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data by defending against network-based threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Design and deploy secure network architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and network access control systems to provide robust security measures.
  • Monitor network traffic and security events using IDS/IPS and SIEM platforms to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risk.
  • Collaborate with SOC and IT teams to investigate and remediate network-related incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent implementation across the organization.
  • Perform risk assessments and threat modeling for network infrastructure to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Ensure secure configuration and patching of routers, switches, and other network devices to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Lead network segmentation and zero-trust initiatives to reduce attack surface and enhance overall security posture.
  • Stay informed on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies through ongoing research and professional development.
