Location: The Association of People with Disability
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our accessibility initiatives as a Divisional Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects that promote equal access and opportunities for people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Develop project plans that align with our organization's goals and objectives. Ensure effective resource utilization and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate collaboration among government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations to strengthen partnerships. Organize meetings, workshops, and forums to promote dialogue and cooperation.
- Training and Capacity Building: Provide training and support to stakeholders, community leaders, and youth groups. Enhance their skills in conducting accessibility audits, utilizing LENS, and participating in APP development and testing.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of data throughout the development and testing phases. Ensure data accuracy and reliability to inform decision-making.
- Media Outreach: Increase the visibility of our initiatives through effective media strategies. Coordinate promotional activities and track media coverage to raise awareness.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Public Health, Community Development).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
