Lead Pipeline Design Specialist

  • To be successful in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. A preferred Master in Subsea or Ocean Engineering will also be considered.
  • The ideal candidate should have 12 to 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry with preference for consultancy organizations or EPC contractors in the Offshore Oil & Gas sector. A minimum of 8 years of experience within offshore oil & gas is required.
  • Proficiency in relevant international codes and standards such as API, DNV etc. Familiarity with oil and gas company standards like Saudi Aramco’s Standards, ADNOC Standards, SHELL DEPs, BP Guidelines etc. is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of software tools including CAESAR, DNV Software, Mathcad, SAGE, AGA, ABAQUS is necessary for this position.
  • This role requires expertise in design calculation and studies – Subsea Pipeline including on-bottom stability assessment, wall thickness calculation, pipeline thermal expansion, and crossing analysis.
  • In addition to subsea pipeline design, proficiency in subsea cable route selection and optimization, and crossing design is also required.
