Application Performance Specialist

The ideal candidate for this position will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of applications by monitoring their performance, identifying issues, and implementing fixes.
Main Responsibilities- Configuring Dynatrace to meet application needs.
- Analyzing user complaints and resolving problems through root cause analysis.
- Identifying recurring issues and developing long-term solutions.
- Setting up alert systems for various applications using Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Defining and fine-tuning alerts to minimize false positives.
- Integrating Dynatrace alerts into incident management tools.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.
- Optimizing application code to improve error handling and alerting.
- Understanding synthetic monitoring and alarm management.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms.
- Mindset focused on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
- Previous experience working as a liaison between application and platform teams.
- Awareness of ITIL practices and principles.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within diverse teams and foster a cooperative environment.
- Basic project management skills to ensure timely task completion and efficient resource allocation.
- Attention to detail when configuring monitoring settings.
- Capacity to provide training and support to teams with varying technical expertise.
