Pharmacovigilance Specialist

As a Pharmacovigilance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of patients by reviewing individual case safety reports (ICSRs) for accuracy and medical relevance.

  • Comprehensive medical review of ICSR's to identify potential serious adverse events (SAEs)
  • Second-level triaging of non-serious cases to identify potential SAEs
  • Review and validation of suspect product coding, event selection, MedDRA coding, grouping/subsuming, and event ordering
  • Assessment of adverse events for seriousness, listedness, and causality
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • High attention to detail and scientific accuracy
  • Sound medical judgment and decision-making in line with pharmacovigilance standards
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, disease pathology, pharmacology, and therapeutics
Additional Requirements
  • MBBS and MD degrees are required
  • Will relocate to listed office locations
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of ICSR's
  • Identifying and escalating potential safety signals or concerns
  • Providing or verifying company PV comments as needed
