About the Job:
  • The Global IT Infrastructure Strategist oversees the definition and management of IT infrastructure, applications, hardware, and network systems within the organization.
  • Responsibilities include performing tasks given by senior leadership and adhering to our IT guidelines and policies.
  • Overall responsibility includes people and process management, as well as providing guidance to technical teams and addressing IT issues.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and manage annual IT infrastructure budgets.
  2. Operate, monitor, and develop enterprise-level systems such as SAP S4/HANA.
  3. Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes for the organization, aligning with our company's vision.
  4. Roll out global IT initiatives in alignment with the global IT team.
  5. Manage purchasing, installation, and rollout processes for IT hardware in facilities, following global guidelines.
  6. Responsible for technical requirements for purchasing and service contracts for IT infrastructure, aligning with the global IT team.
  7. Ensure operational performance, availability, security, and continuity of local IT infrastructure in facilities.
  8. Propose and coordinate deployment and maintenance of IT hardware and network solutions.
  9. Monitor performance of IT infrastructure and networks, recommending improvements as needed.
  10. Analyze business requirements by partnering with stakeholders to define IT infrastructure requirements.
  11. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT and act as IT support lead for assigned areas.
  12. Adapt and integrate our company's IT guidelines and policies into the region.
  13. Serve as a liaison between business units and technical IT teams.
  14. Responsible for local/regional technical operations of IT solutions.
  15. Act as a local IT Security Manager by completing system audits, building awareness around information technology security and protection, and implementing IT risk mitigation measures.
  16. Manage IT-related incidents, service requests, and changes. Provide guidance and support to technical teams.
  17. Define and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a similar field.
  • At least 7+ years of work experience in an international business environment in a comparable position.
  • Experience with enterprise-level systems such as SAP S4/HANA.
  • Proven working experience as an IT manager, or other relevant experience.
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and managing IT setup for OT environments is preferred.
  • Experience in leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
  • Expertise in data center management and data governance.
  • Familiarity with IT compliance standards.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills, team collaboration, & leading projects and teams virtually.
  • Excellent project management skills and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
