Job Title: Cloud Engineering Expert

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to lead our cloud financial management initiatives and drive operational excellence on the Azure platform.

We are a fast-growing cloud infrastructure and SaaS solutions provider with a strong global presence. We specialize in helping enterprises optimize cloud costs, improve cloud reliability, and adopt next-generation technologies like AI on Azure.

The Role:
This role will shape cloud service strategies, lead research and proof of concepts, and provide opinionated insights to influence offerings and internal best practices. The ideal candidate brings deep Azure expertise, cost optimization skills, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize Azure subscriptions and resources to ensure cost efficiency and proper utilization.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards using Azure Cost Management data and exports.
  • Implement and manage Azure-native dashboards (Azure Advisor, budgets, cost recommendations).
  • Lead large-scale Azure migration and modernization engagements, managing end-to-end lifecycle and program governance.
  • Define and implement cost-management strategies through monitoring, optimization, and automation of Azure services.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate technical merits, and align solutions with business outcomes and TCO value propositions.

Requirements:
  • Proven track record in Azure FinOps and cost optimization.
  • Strong expertise across Azure services (VMs, Blob Storage, SQL DB, AKS, Functions, Azure OpenAI).
  • Hands-on with Azure Cost Management, Advisor, Budgets.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell/Python scripting for automation.
  • Experience conducting Azure Well-Architected Framework Reviews.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with third-party FinOps tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure governance and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Azure Governance, Policy, Compliance, and Security frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Azure AD, Azure Security Center, Azure Advisor, Azure Sentinel.

Experience & Education:
  • Minimum 7+ years in cloud operations with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
