About our Operations Leader Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to head the operations of our biofuel/biogas facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily plant setup and operations to achieve targets (throughput, yield, methane purity, uptime).
  • Optimize digestion, gas cleanup/upgrading (H₂S/CO₂ removal), compression, storage/dispensing, and utilities for efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventive/predictive maintenance strategies (CMMS) and drive reliability (MTBF/MTTR).
  • Manage external partners and contractors; control scope, change, and debottlenecking projects.
  • E nsure EHS & statutory compliance; own SOPs, PTW, emergency response, and audit readiness.
  • Build and mentor operational teams (shift engineers, mech/E&I, utilities, QC).
  • Own DCS/SCADA KPIs and MIS reporting; drive data-led improvements and cost control.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading plant setup/commissioning and operations in biofuel/biogas/CBG or closely related continuous-process industries.
  • Strong track record of technology evaluation/verification (vendor due diligence, guarantees, trials, acceptance testing).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical & instrumentation systems (compressors, blowers, agitators, PSA/membrane, analyzers, HT/LT).
  • Sound understanding of EHS, environmental norms, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and effective communication.
  • Bachelor's in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering (or related).

Good-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Master's degree; PMP/PRINCE2 certification; RCM/FMEA experience; energy management and cost optimization track record.
