Highly skilled Python developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality code to train and optimize AI models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop efficient Python code to train and optimize AI models by leveraging machine learning algorithms and data structures.
- Benchmark model performance and analyze results to identify areas for improvement through data-driven decision making.
- Evaluate and rank AI model responses across diverse domains using natural language processing techniques.
- Develop comprehensive explanations and rationales for model evaluations and provide actionable insights.
- Lead efforts in Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and create high-quality task-specific datasets to enhance model performance.
- Collaborate with researchers and annotators to refine reward models and improve overall AI system effectiveness.
- Design innovative evaluation strategies and processes to drive continuous improvement of AI models.
- Improve AI performance by creating and refining optimal responses to user queries.
- Peer review code and documentation to ensure high standards of quality and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with new tools, techniques and methodologies to enhance AI training processes and contribute to the growth of the team.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of strong experience with Python programming language concepts including data structures and algorithms.
- Industry knowledge of code quality best practices and testing frameworks.
- Experience working with Python's testing ecosystem to ensure high-quality code.
- Knowledge of multi-threading and asynchronous programming to optimize model performance.
- Ability to work with architectural patterns and refactor code to improve maintainability and scalability.
- Strong debugging skills to fix complex issues such as memory and concurrency problems.
- Fluent English communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
