Job Title: Data Storage Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to design, implement, and manage data storage solutions using relational and NoSQL databases.

About the Position

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in database engineering and a passion for building scalable and efficient data systems.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and possess strong communication and technical skills.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data pipelines and storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Manage relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL platforms (Cassandra, ScyllaDB, MongoDB, BigQuery).
  • Build scalable, distributed database systems for real-time and batch workloads.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate database deployments and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure efficient access to data.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills:
  • Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and MySQL database design.
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases: Cassandra, ScyllaDB, MongoDB, BigQuery.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, replication, sharding, and partitioning.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud providers.
