Job Overview:

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Administrator to design and implement storage systems, including procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning.
    • Our ideal candidate will have experience in adding disk shelves to existing storage for standalone and high-availability controllers.
    • They should also possess extensive knowledge of configuring and managing DR replication via SnapMirror.
    • Additionally, they should be proficient in managing vFilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting and monitoring tools.
    • The successful candidate will provide operational support to the File Serving / NAS Infrastructure within the organization, planning and implementing data migrations using Robocopy.
    • Experience with an operational ticketing system, such as Service Now, is essential.
    • Responsibilities also include handling Disk, Aggregate, Qtree, Volume issues and checking Storage Critical Events.
  • Requirements and Qualifications:
    • A strong background in NetApp and Hitachi technology is required.
    • Excellent technical skills and in-depth understanding of CMODE and CDOT & fabric switches are essential.
    • Significant experience in software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI etc) is necessary.
    • Excellent understanding of technologies: CIFS - NFS is required.
    • Knowledge of enterprise process mapping tools and techniques, as well as industry good practice frameworks such as ITIL, Agile etc is desirable.
