At Thales Group, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at the India Engineering Competency Center (ECC) in Bangalore. As a Senior Engineer - Technical Publications, you'll be working in interface with Aviation Global Services (AGS) TechPubs organization and under the Senior Lead Engineer.

Your primary responsibilities will include performing ATA compliant Technical Publications on Aerospace Products and Systems, ensuring airworthiness / regulatory requirements are met, and developing and releasing technical documents in accordance with company policies/procedures.

You'll work in a team environment with multiple participants within AGS TechPubs organization and possible multiple countries (India, US, France). Your duties will involve gathering and analyzing released data & technical information from different sources, applying engineering authoring rules, and ensuring technical documentation meets established quality, customer standards, budget, and schedule.

We're looking for a candidate with strong experience within the Aerospace industry, Civil Aviation Rules, Aircraft documentation, producing common industry standard technical data, and structured electronic manuals. You should be rigorous, organized, autonomous, and proactive, motivated by a position within a multidisciplinary team.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the success of our team. Bachelor's Degree in Electronics / Mechanical / Instrumentation engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience is required. Post-graduation is desirable. Strong computer skills including Microsoft office suite, ERP, and Engineering BOM systems are essential. Experience with TechData Editing tools in SGML, XML, or other format (ADAM Author, PTC Arbortext, Notepad etc.) and TechData Managing tools (ADAM Manager or other) is also required.
