We are seeking a seasoned financial expert to lead our investment analysis efforts.

About the Role

This key position involves dissecting complex financial data, identifying lucrative opportunities, and providing strategic insights to inform business decisions.

  • Analyzing extensive financial datasets across various asset classes.
  • Designing and maintaining sophisticated financial models for valuation, forecasting, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Compiling comprehensive investment reports and presentations for senior management and the investment committee.
  • Tracking and reporting on portfolio performance, critical metrics, and market trends.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation initiatives by analyzing historical trends and market fluctuations.
  • Conducting variance analysis on actual versus forecasted results to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborating with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assisting in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance transactions.
  • Mentoring junior analysts and imparting knowledge on best practices in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Contributing to process improvements, automation, and implementation of analytical tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred).
  • 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or corporate finance, preferably in an investment company, asset management, or private equity environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of valuation techniques, including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar financial databases is advantageous.
  • Superb analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
