Job Title: Senior Financial Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support bookkeeping, management information systems (MIS) reporting and accounts receivable/payable activities.
  • Prioritize timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and financial reporting for the organization.
  • Collaborate with corporate stakeholders to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
  • Analyze departmental operations to develop efficient procedures and maximize resource utilization while maintaining high accuracy standards.
  • Provide expert guidance to team members on non-routine reporting transactions.
  • Work closely with the external auditor to ensure a smooth and timely annual audit process.
  • Supervise the general ledger team to guarantee all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Maintain strict adherence to established processes and industry best practices.
  • Take ownership of work and team performance, ensuring accountability for meeting company obligations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sound knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting procedures, taxation, and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and leadership qualities.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Zoho, and Microsoft Office software.
