SEO Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to drive organic growth and lead SEO strategy, manage on-page and off-page SEO efforts, and ensure optimal website performance for Vertoz, an AI-powered MadTech and CloudTech Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals, targeting short-term and long-term traffic growth.
  • Optimize website architecture, metadata, and content for improved search engine rankings, ensuring website pages are correctly structured and optimized for target keywords.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to crawl errors, site speed, and other technical aspects that impact search engine performance.
  • Conduct advanced keyword research to identify opportunities for content and ranking improvement using industry-standard tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
  • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) to measure and report on the success of SEO strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with content teams to optimize blogs, landing pages, and other site assets for SEO while maintaining a seamless user experience.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting regular competitor analysis and implementing strategies that improve search visibility.
  • Liaise with developers, UX/UI teams, and content creators to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into web design and new projects.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in any stream.
  • 3-5 years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of managing successful SEO campaigns.
  • Indepth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, and others.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site audits, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it pertains to SEO.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
