Job Opportunity: Senior Data Manager

Manage and oversee the effective execution of business intelligence strategies, ensuring seamless stakeholder engagement.

Job Responsibilities

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Coordinate Business Intelligence & Reporting activities to drive organizational growth and development.
  • Support and manage various Business Intelligence & Reporting products to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and synergize strategic Business Intelligence models to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support Business Intelligence & Reporting on key initiatives, driving function development and related capabilities.
  • Identify and develop talent across AXA XL, promoting diversity and inclusion to leverage digital, data, and analytics assets effectively.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction, providing exceptional service to business stakeholders above all else.
  • Contribute to the development of the Business Intelligence team's tools, skills, and culture, bringing a positive impact.
  • Report directly to the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence & Reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills for successful collaboration within teams and across global markets.
  • A collaborative spirit with a can-do attitude and a customer-first mindset.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Relevant years of experience in data roles (analytics or engineering) supporting multiple specialty areas of Data and Analytics.
  • Passion for digital, data, and AI, with experience working within a digital and data-driven organization.
  • End-user experience with Business Intelligence tools like Power BI.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, MS Access, and VBA. Ability to guide team members on technical issues and develop them to manage tasks independently.
