Job Title: GCP Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned data engineer to craft scalable data pipelines and architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure data pipelines on GCP using Google Cloud Storage (GCS), BigQuery, and Apache Airflow.
  • Develop robust Extract-Transform-Load/Extract-Load-Transform processes using Python and integrate with data orchestration tools.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Orient BigQuery performance through efficient schema design, partitioning, clustering, and query optimization.
  • Manage and maintain data lake and data warehouse environments ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Automate and monitor data pipelines to ensure consistent and reliable data delivery.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and ensure adherence to data governance and security standards.
  • Prior experience working with cloud-based data platforms and scalable data architectures is required.
  • Excellent understanding of data processing frameworks, data storage systems, and distributed computing technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence principles.
  • Experience with data integration tools such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and AWS Glue is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
