Network Delivery Lead

Purpose and Expectations

The Network Delivery Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing multiple projects within the Network Tower, encompassing Transition & Steady State Operations. This involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of network programs, effective governance, and continuous service enhancement.

Key Requirements

  • Overall Experience: 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure/Network Operations.
  • Network Delivery: 8+ years in managing WAN, LAN, DC-LAN, WiFi, SD-WAN/SD-LAN implementations and operations.
  • Transition Management: Strong background in Transition, Transformation, and steady state governance.
  • International Exposure: Prior experience in handling multi-country / multi-customer environments is highly desirable.

Desirable Skills and Competencies

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Delivery Oversight: Manage delivery of multiple network projects/programs under the TDU.
    • Transition Excellence: Oversee transition from solution to operations, ensuring seamless handover.
    • SLA/KPI Adherence: Drive SLA/KPI adherence, compliance, and quality of service delivery.
  • Project & Transition Management:
    • Transition Frameworks: Strong understanding of transition frameworks, governance models, and operational readiness.
    • Cutover Expertise: Ability to lead cutovers, migrations, and handovers with minimal risk.
    • Contractual Acumen: Exposure to outcome-based and managed services contracts.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Network Familiarity: Good understanding of network technologies (SD-WAN, SD-LAN, NextGen WiFi, NFV, Automation).
    • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with network tools & automation platforms.
    • Design Coordination: Experience in coordinating design, implementation, and operations teams.
  • Business & Stakeholder Management:
    • Interface Management: Act as the key operations interface between Delivery, Sales, Practice and Clients.
    • Governance Expertise: Manage executive-level governance with customer stakeholders.
    • Communication Skills: Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Responsibility Areas

  • End-to-End Governance: Manage end-to-end delivery governance for network projects within TDU.
  • Service Transition: Ensure smooth transition of services (from pre-sales/solutioning to steady state operations).
  • Governance and Compliance: Drive governance across multiple accounts/projects, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance.
  • New Offering Operationalization: Partner with Practice teams to operationalize new offerings (SD-WAN / SD-LAN / Automation).
  • Risk Management: Contribute to risk identification, mitigation, and escalation management.
  • SteerCo/Govt Reviews: Prepare and lead SteerCo/Govt reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of automation in operations.
  • Standardization and Best Practices: Ensure standardization and best practices across network programs.
