Senior Quality Assurance Tester

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual testing, creating test cases, and collaborating with developers.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, including SQL and troubleshooting abilities, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans and cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance.
  • Identify and report defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in software testing, preferably in a similar role.
  • Manual testing expertise with 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience with API automation using REST Assured or similar tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, Maven, and CICD Tools.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-hosted applications and customer-facing applications.
  • Knowledge of payment industry principles and practices is desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
