Cloud Architect Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to design and deploy scalable cloud solutions for our clients.

  • This role involves leading the design and implementation of cloud architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
  • You will collaborate with customers to understand their existing IT workloads and create migration roadmaps to transition them to cloud-based environments.
  • As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing cloud solutions in areas such as networking, storage, compute infrastructure, and identity/access management in virtualized environments.

Your expertise in cloud technologies, including Linux, software-defined networking, container orchestration, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and open-source technologies like NGINX and Redis, is essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on cloud architecture, migration, and data analytics.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions, particularly in Google Cloud, with a focus on architecture, scaling, and security.
  • Experience in customer-facing migration projects, including discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operational support.
