Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cell Culture Specialist to support upstream process development, scale-up, and characterization for monoclonal antibody manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell culture and experience in developing and optimizing bioprocesses.

About the Role:

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and robust processes to meet product yield and quality requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks during process development and scale-up, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discuss technical aspects of process development, technology transfer, and process improvement.
  • Contribute to technology transfer activities, program management, and regulatory dossier preparation, supporting smooth audits and filings.
  • Analyze data to inform technical decisions and ensure thorough documentation of raw data in accordance with GDP principles.
  • Develop work presentations, write technical documents, and create procedures (SOPs, IOPs, EOPs) that meet industry standards.
  • Coordinate lab activities within and across teams to ensure seamless operation.

Special Requirements:

The candidate must possess expertise in one of the following areas in addition to the above:

  • Omics technologies – Metabolomics, metabolic flux analysis.
  • Bioprocess modeling – Metabolic modeling, process modeling, digital twin for bioreactors or cells.
  • CFD – Computational fluid dynamics to better understand and simulate bioreactor mixing.

Educational Background:

Only recent PhD graduates will be considered for this role.
