Job Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Senior Associate.

Main Responsibilities

  • Draft and review various legal & commercial agreements, including negotiation and closure of such agreements.
  • Provide legal advice to human resource and other business units concerning labour and employment issues worldwide.
  • Offer guidance to business teams on industry-specific laws.
  • Conduct research on legal aspects relating to various topics.
  • Liaise with external parties to drive charter execution.
  • Assist in administration/enforcements of systems and processes to ensure contracts meet legal requirements.
  • Handle disputes and general compliance (corporate and statutory compliances).
  • Monitor changes and updates to employment laws and advise on developments that may affect the company in several jurisdictions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualified law graduate from India.
  • 4/5 years PQE with experience in contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiating general commercial contracts.
  • Understanding and knowledge in the area of employment and related laws.
  • Familiarity with consumer-facing platforms, particularly media space/new age tech platforms.
  • Preference for in-house experience working with a global company/large technology environment with teams in India and other geographic locations.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally.
