Experience Designer Leader for Digital Product Development

The Experience Designer Leader will be responsible for spearheading the UX design efforts across Clarivate's range of products.

About the Role

This senior position involves providing product designs, architectural direction, and mentorship to the UX design team. The successful candidate will collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define UX strategies aligned with business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of user interfaces and experiences for digital products, ensuring usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction.
  • Oversee user research initiatives to gather insights into user behavior, preferences, and pain points.
  • Guide the creation of interactive prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain UX design guidelines, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across products and platforms.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in UX design, with progressively increasing responsibilities and roles.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, User Experience Design, or a related area is preferred.
  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar, as well as a strong understanding of design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.

What You Will Be Doing in This Role?

In this role, you will provide leadership to the UX design team, develop UX strategies, lead the design process, oversee user research, guide prototyping and testing, establish design guidelines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
