**Job Title:** Senior ABAP Developer - Advanced Planner and Product Master Specialist

**Overview of the Job Description**: In this role, we are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer with a strong background in APO and PMT to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in developing, enhancing, and supporting ABAP solutions integrated with APO and PMT modules.

The key responsibilities for this position include:

  1. Developing, enhancing, and maintaining ABAP programs, reports, forms, and interfaces related to APO and PMT.
  2. Designing and implementing custom solutions based on business and project requirements.
  3. Debugging, analyzing, and optimizing ABAP code for better system performance.
  4. Creating and modifying SmartForms, Adobe Forms, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits for APO integration.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to collaborate with functional consultants to develop custom enhancements for SAP APO, configure and enhance CIF between APO and ECC systems, troubleshoot and resolve APO-related integration issues, work on planning objects, heuristics, and optimizer models within APO, develop ABAP objects supporting PMT-related processes and master data integration, ensure seamless integration between PMT and other SAP modules, maintain PMT configurations and resolve technical issues in coordination with functional teams, support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT phases for all ABAP developments, create and maintain technical documentation for developed objects and processes, collaborate with QA and deployment teams for smooth rollout of solutions, and provide production support and resolve defects/issues within SLAs.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**: To be considered for this role, you must have:

  1. Core Expertise: SAP ABAP development (5+ years).
  2. Mandatory Expertise:
  • APO (Advanced Planner & Optimizer): CIF, planning objects, heuristics, optimizer configurations, integration.
  • PMT (Product Master Tool): ABAP developments, data integration, and enhancements.
Hands-on experience with BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, ALE/IDocs, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and Workflows. Strong understanding of OOABAP programming concepts. Good exposure to performance tuning and code optimization techniques. Knowledge of integration points between SAP APO, ECC, and PMT.
