Logistics Expertise Partner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Logistics Expertise Partner with expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical and functional expertise in OTM along with a deep understanding of transportation and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze logistics processes, and design effective OTM-based solutions.
  • Configure and Implement OTM Modules: Configure, customize, and implement various OTM modules covering order management, planning, execution, visibility, and settlement.
  • Provide Training and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct workshops, end-user training, and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure effective use of OTM functionalities.
  • Prepare Technical Specifications: Prepare and maintain technical specifications, design documents, test plans, and implementation guides.
  • Perform System Configurations: Perform system configurations, data mapping, and integration of OTM with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
  • Provide Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for OTM-related issues, including performance tuning and bug fixes.
  • Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Stay updated with OTM product developments and industry trends to suggest process improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Oracle Transportation Management (OTM): Strong hands-on experience
  • OTM Configuration & Customization: Including order management, planning, execution, and settlement
  • SQL / PL-SQL: For writing queries, data mapping, and backend support
  • Java / XSLT: For OTM customizations and integration components
  • Web Services (SOAP/REST): For system integration
  • ERP Systems Integration: Especially Oracle EBS / Fusion
  • Cloud Technologies: Experience in On-Premises to Cloud migration
  • Reporting Tools: Oracle BI Publisher or similar
  • Ticketing & Project Tools: JIRA, ServiceNow (optional but preferred)
