About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fuel Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of fuel deliveries and billing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Billing and Invoicing: You will be responsible for accurately billing all sites associated with your assigned carriers, ensuring timely payments and maintaining positive relationships with our customers.
  • Delivery Management: You will work closely with our fuel supply team to ensure that carriers are pulling the correct products and that all deliveries are made on schedule.
  • Research and Problem-Solving: You will conduct research to resolve tank loss issues and CRM cases involving assigned carriers, working collaboratively with our inventory accountant and fuel AP teams to ensure accurate billing and reconciliation.
  • Team Support: You will provide assistance to other team members, covering carriers when needed and contributing to the overall success of our operations team.

Requirements:

  • Basic Excel Knowledge: You should have a basic understanding of Excel and be able to use it to analyze data and perform tasks.
  • Communication Skills: You should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Attention to Detail: You should have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in your work.
  • Independence and Autonomy: You should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative and making decisions as needed.
