Government e-Marketplace Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Operations Manager to join our innovative IT solutions team. This role is critical in expanding our presence in public sector IT solutions and managing relationships with government clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee GeM portal operations, including product catalog management, pricing updates, and order processing
  • Lead end-to-end tender management for IT government contracts, including preparation, submission, and follow-up
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement policies, GeM guidelines, and tender specifications
  • Coordinate between internal technical teams and public sector clients to deliver tailored IT solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and procurement officers
  • Monitor market opportunities in the government IT sector and prepare strategic proposals

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in GeM operations and government tender management
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and policies
  • Experience with IT sector tenders, particularly in cybersecurity, data centers, or digital infrastructure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and tender management tools
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with major IT vendors (HP, Dell, Microsoft, Fortinet, etc.)
  • Previous experience in B2G (Business to Government) sales
  • Understanding of cybersecurity solutions and data center technologies
