About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert Developer to join our development team at SAP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating production performance and reliability issues and improving the performance and reliability of our cloud services.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues in production using monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Collaborate with the development team to take corrective actions and implement new monitoring and alerting mechanisms to prevent outages.
  • Validate the performance and reliability of our applications on dedicated performance test landscapes.
  • Manage deployment and build processes for performance and reliability landscapes with other developers.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of relevant experience in Java/JVM, cloud microservices, and performance and reliability.
  • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and PostgreSQL, with a focus on query optimization.
  • Proficiency in Dynatrace and Kibana for troubleshooting cloud landscapes.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration tools and scripting for DevOps, such as Python, Jenkins pipeline, and GitHub.
  • Experience with Cloud Foundry platform, JavaScript, NodeJS, Scala, and Kotlin scripting for application automation is a plus.
