Job Title: Planning Lead

EMotorad is seeking a highly skilled Planning Lead to join our team in Pune. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive production plans, coordinating with manufacturing teams, and ensuring timely delivery of materials needed for production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage production plans in alignment with sales forecasts and market demand
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure production schedules are achievable and resources are allocated efficiently
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather insights and create accurate demand forecasts
  • Monitor and control inventory flows, including raw materials, components, and finished goods
  • Work closely with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials needed for production
  • Evaluate the capacity of production facilities and resources, ensuring that they are sufficient to meet current and future demands
  • Identify areas for improvement within the planning process and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in demand forecasting and inventory management
  • Proficiency with planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
