Software Developer Role Overview

The role involves participating in application development of a global trade repository platform, collaborating with other teams and contributing to the design and delivery of a robust and scalable solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Agile squad and contribute to developing and delivering software systems and applications.
  • Work closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users to improve existing software systems and applications.
  • Act as a technical expert on one or more applications applied by the firm.
  • Tune application performance to eliminate and reduce issues.
  • Research and evaluate technical solutions consistent with technology standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Java and related technologies including Spring, JUnit, Hibernate, good SQL experience, JEE Application servers like Tomcat, WebSphere, JBOSS.
  • DevOps tools like Maven, Jenkins, nexus, fortify, Cobertura, Containers, etc. AWS Cloud Experience, design and development of RDBMS systems like snowflake, Oracle and other cloud DBs.
  • Experience of Unix/Linux OS including shell scripting, Perl and/or python will be a plus.
  • Familiarity with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift will be a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Agile, CI/CD, Jenkins, Dev/Ops practices and tools.
